Join the Intro to Competition Cheer Program, led by Chanhassen Competition Cheer! Open to students in grades K-5, each session is an expansion of our Summer & Winter Break Mini Camps. Through weekly instruction, participants will learn what it is like to be a competition cheerleader - register for multiple sessions for a full season experience! Just like our Mini Camps, each session will have a new routine, and skills will be taught at a level that is appropriate for each participant with an end of session performance! Cost includes a Mini Storm Competition Cheer shirt that will be used as their uniform for performances. A payment plan is available to make this program more accessible!

Held once a month, this art class will feature a variety of art mediums with opportunities for learning new skills and creating unique works of art. Join art instructor, Theresa Ganzer and have fun creating with your MA friends! All supplies included. Monday - June 30th: Sunset Boat Painting - Learn step-by-step how to create a painting of a peaceful boat on the water at sunset. THURSDAY - July 10th: Mixed Media Red, White, & Blue Art - Use repurposed objects and materials that are red, white, and blues to create a festive unique work of art! **Teams are based on parent volunteer and space availability. Programs are held at Chanhassen High School and Chaska High School during the evenings/weekends. Once coaches are established, they will notify those registered of what the schedule will be. Most teams meet 2-3 times per week in the evenings/weekends. What is FIRST Tech Challenge? Teams of students collaborate to build and program a robot that competes on a 12' by 12' field. Each year the challenge is designed to encourage students to think critically and expand their knowledge of the engineering process. FIRST Tech Challenge in MN is part of an international robotics program that includes more than 3,000 teams globally. The registration fee includes 1 Regional Event. If a team chooses to attend or qualifies for other events, additional fees may apply to cover tournament costs. In this fantastic fall-themed art class, we’ll dive into a variety of creative projects—from painting vibrant autumn trees on canvas to crafting playful turkey pots and even sculpting iguanas! Using a mix of paints, clay, and chalk, students will let their imaginations soar as they create a colorful collection of seasonal artwork. Get ready for a fun-filled session packed with creativity and fall flair!

Soak up the fall colors while exploring a gorgeous Minnesota lake during this paddling excursion! Instructors will cover the basics of kayaking and lead the group out onto the lake to view the changing leaves around Lake Minnewashta. All equipment will be provided, and children should be accompanied by a participating adult. Offered in partnership with Carver County Parks.

Have you taken a good look at your feet, ankles or knees lately? They support the weight of your entire body. Take off your shoes and socks, roll up your pants and look in a mirror. Do your ankles roll in? Are your arches flat? Do you have bunions or calluses? Are your toes straight or do they bend in? Does your big toe pull in towards the other toes? Do your knees lock back? Do your kneecaps turn in or pull outwards? In this workshop you'll learn simple things to help correct these common problems.

New and returning students are welcome to join Youth Enrichment League (YEL) Fencing! Our program has grown and improved under the guidance of Olympic Coach Ro Sobalvarro, who now leads our curriculum, instructor training, and tournament planning. With his deep knowledge of youth, national, and international fencing, the program offers an exciting and enriching experience for all levels. Students will learn from returning instructors who bring refined coaching skills, new techniques, and plenty of fun—complete with popular fencing games and arm bands. Safety remains our top priority: all students use safety swords, protective masks, chest plates, and jackets in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. Be entertained and come support the talented ECCS 6th graders at this musical adaptation of Finding Nemo - KIDS! Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. This 30 minute show is sure to entertain all ages! Participants must be accompanied and all attendees, including companions, are asked to register for a ticket. Join this high energy class for a 45 minute workout! Fit 45 is an easy to follow, intermediate level group fitness class that will make the most of every second you give it. Using a variety of strength and cardio moves, participants will get a full body workout while building muscle and endurance. Be sure to bring a water bottle and stretching mat. Ages 18+ Occasional Saturday classes will take place via Zoom based on instructor availability- to participate in this option, select the added $10 price option.
