Home Alone Safely

Youth / Academic Enrichment / Prek-Elementary Academic Enrichment -
Winter/Spring 2026

This engaging class is taught with photos and visual aids. Participants will learn the important responsibilities of being safe alone-at-home. Topics include basic first aid, fire safety, kitchen safety, internet safety, small and large emergencies, stranger danger, sibling arguments, and more. Class participants will receive an email handout to review at home with parents.

Amy Timm has enjoyed teaching children, teens, and adults for 30 years. She has a master's degree in Parent and Family Education. She is a certified instructor with the Health & Safety Institute teaching babysitting safety and home alone safety training classes.
