Discover the joy of capturing life's beautiful moments through photography! This inclusive, hands-on class is designed to help you explore your creativity and develop a fun new skill! Learn from professional photographer, Sharlene James, how to see the world through a photographer's eyes, how to choose lighting and backgrounds, and how to use features on both smartphone cameras and professional DSLR cameras! Learn at your own pace as you build confidence and create photo memories that you can share with family and friends. Please bring a digital device that can take photos or indicate when you register if you don't have one. Individuals needing assistance to participate are asked to have a companion remain and assist throughout the class. Take A Hike - Magnifying Abilities

Embark on an outdoor adventure with the MA community at Take A Hike! Join instructor Kelli and your fellow MA hiking enthusiasts for three hikes at local parks, each offering unique scenery and experiences. Participants can register for individual hikes but are encouraged to join all 3. For those who may need extra support, we kindly ask that they bring a companion to help maintain the pace. Thursday - August 7th: Explore the tranquil beauty of Lake Jonathan and Lake Grace at McKnight Park in Chaska. Thursday - August 14th: Take in the serene views at Spring Lake Regional Park in Prior Lake, ideal for our Scott County friends! Canoeing on Cleary Lake - Magnifying Abilities

Get out on the water and experience canoeing with instructors from the Three Rivers Parks - Outdoor Recreation School. Learn canoeing basics including safety and paddle strokes and then enjoy exploring Cleary Lake together. Equipment provided. Signed waiver required.
