Saturday Bowling - Magnifying Abilities

Join your Magnifying Abilities friends for Saturday Bowling! Meet at Shakopee Bowl for friendly competition and fun-filled bowling! One session will be offered each month. Your registration fee of $10.00 per session includes one hour of bowling and shoe rental, if needed. Bring extra $$$ to purchase snacks and drinks from The Bowl's delicious menu! Per Shakopee Bowl policy, NO outside food or beverage containers allowed. Participants needing significant support should be accompanied by a caregiver. Bowling begins at 10:15. Please, no arrivals BEFORE 10:00 AM. Shakopee Bowl does not open until 10:00. See you at "The Bowl"! Are you interested in volunteering with the Magnifying Abilities Community Education Program? Magnifying Abilities welcomes community volunteers to provide support and encouragement to our participants at our activities and events! Our events are typically less than 2 hours, primarily early evenings and occasional weekends, and are A LOT of fun!! No experience necessary! We just ask that our volunteers have a caring, friendly attitude and a willingness to support amazing people with a variety of abilities. *Please excuse the incorrect rate in the printed catalog* This soap making class offers a welcoming and inclusive creative space designed to bring together individuals of all abilities and backgrounds. This class aims to create a supportive and accepting environment where everyone feels valued and included, regardless of their abilities or challenges. *Offered in partnership with the Magnified Abilities Program (Adults with Disabilities) Create beautiful super moisturizing sulfate-free soaps with natural nutrient rich oils to gently cleanse and protect your skin. Blend luscious clean fresh phthalate-free fragrance oils you'll love for spring: lemon, orange, lime, berries, mango/papaya, peony, jasmine, sage-mint, gardenia, lilac, peach and more. Grab your friends, family and neighbors for a very special night out - especially perfect for the gardeners in your life, and of course Mom-to celebrate Mother's Day together! Children 12+ are welcome with an adult. Each must register separately. Take home soaps in 4 fragrance blends and DIY recipes This class is offered as a partnership with Magnifying Abilities. Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for Adults with intellectual or physical disabilities. The program is designed to enhance the community involvement and life long learning of adults with disabilities. Class Fee: MA Participants $15 - (FULL - Registration Closed) General Fee $41 .

Bingo Theme Night - Magnifying Abilities

Don't miss out on the fun at Magnifying Abilities Bingo Theme Night! Join friends one Wednesday per month for bingo, snacks and prizes! Each month has a different theme...Shamrock Fun in March, Fairytale Characters in April, and The Great Outdoors in May. Play a few rounds of themed bingo followed by traditional bingo.
