  • Drone Racing

Students will learn how to fly like the pros in the Drone Racing League by training on a flight simulator. Once they learn the basics of flying, they’ll assemble their very own drone which they’ll get to keep after the camp. After learning drone safety and maintenance, students will take their drone to the skies and compete in numerous races and challenges. Led by experienced instructors, students will leave camp with the skills and knowledge to pilot their drones and keep them running. The drones used in camps have cameras, and are perfect for entry level pilots. Drone Type: UFO 4000 **this drone will also work with the RC Wars Camp Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center: • Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time. • At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up. • Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time. Thank you for helping summer camps run as smoothly as possible!
