3D Printing: Gizmos & GadgetsMiddle School S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)Students will learn the ropes of 3D modeling and printing. Match play opportunities will consist of Wednesday afternoons (home and away matches) from 1-3 pm against other players of similar ability from tennis programs in the western metro area. Transportation to the away matches is not provided but typically arrangements can be made to help with transportation if needed. Matches run from approximately June 16 - Aug 4th. A decision on a match around July 4th will be determined later and final match schedule (home and away) will be provided the week before the session starts. Since we play other teams in the metro area it is important you meet the minimum ability level for this league. Badminton CampTennisThe Sports Unlimited Badminton program is designed to provide beginner and intermediate level players ages 5-10 with the fundamental skills of a sport that is growing in popularity. Participants are taught proper grip, footwork, strokes, volleys, overheads and serves. We will cover the basic rules and etiquette of the game. The camps are based on the philosophy of providing all children with the opportunity to develop sports skills in a fun, safe and non competitive environment. Chanhassen Boys Basketball ClinicsBasketballClinics are designed for skill improvement and are aimed at players who will work hard and want to get better. There will be a focus on the fundamental skills of ball handling, passing, footwork and shooting. We will emphasize skills needed to succeed as a Chanhassen High School player such as setting/using screens, finishing at the rim, spacing and our motion offense concepts. Along with skill work we will play competitive games of 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5. Chanhassen High School Volleyball CampVolleyballTeryn Glenn, Chanhassen High School's head volleyball coach, along with Freeze Volleyball presents a Chanhassen High School Camp. This camp is designed to meet the demands of those players at the varsity high school level and beyond. Each camper will be evaluated on her volleyball skill level and athletic ability and will be split up accordingly for a variety of game play and positional drills. Players will be given advanced instruction by highly experienced coaches and learn the skills that the Minnesota Gopher Volleyball team is utilizing. This camp will run at a high intensity and players should be experienced and prepared to work hard. Campers should bring a labeled water bottle and a small snack.
