Join the friendly staff and delightful rescue animals at Art, Heart and Hoofbeats for 2 fall sessions of creativity, curiosity, and connection with animals. Signed waiver required to participate. Participants needing support to participate must have a companion assist throughout the class. Wednesday - September 3rd The Art of Horses: Feel, Connect, Create: Discover how horses communicate, express emotion, and move with us. Enjoy a fun and peaceful experience where the first half of the class is spent visiting, brushing, and learning to understand the body language and energy of our rescue horses. The second half will be dedicated to drawing and painting your favorite horse at the sanctuary. Wednesday - September 17th Sanctuary Senses - Listening, Feeling, & Creating at AHHS: Slow down and awaken all your senses through a guided sensory walk. We’ll explore our 5 senses enjoying the natural soundtrack of birdsong, goat bleats, rustling leaves, and horses breathing beside you.
