Community Education--Eastern Carver Co Schools

New and returning students are welcome to join Youth Enrichment League (YEL) Fencing! Our program has grown and improved under the guidance of Olympic Coach Ro Sobalvarro, who now leads our curriculum, instructor training, and tournament planning. With his deep knowledge of youth, national, and international fencing, the program offers an exciting and enriching experience for all levels.

Students will learn from returning instructors who bring refined coaching skills, new techniques, and plenty of fun—complete with popular fencing games and arm bands. Safety remains our top priority: all students use safety swords, protective masks, chest plates, and jackets in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.
