CMSW Jazz Band- 7th & 8th Grade

Learn about America’s original art form and play with a wonderful group of musicians in our CMSW jazz ensembles. Learn fun music, how to improvise, how to play in a jazz style.

**should have at least two years of experience playing a band instrument or guitar, piano, bass, drums or voice.

Eric Songer

Eric has been a music teacher in Eastern Carver County Schools since 1997.  In 2021, he was named District 112's Teacher of the Year.  He has grown the after school and summer music programs into thriving, exciting opportunities for students.
