Summer Care Programs Pre-K through 8th Grade
Play orchestra music with your friends and keep your string playing skills up in this two-week orchestra class. We will perform a variety of styles of music, including classical music, fiddle tunes and pop songs. This course is for students with at least one year experience playing their orchestra instrument.
Performance: Thursday, June 18, 11am location TBD
Kristen Moon teaches orchestras at Chaska Middle Schools East and West. She performs with various groups in the Twin Cities on cello and double bass. Ms. Moon holds degrees in music and performance from Luther College and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She studied education at Augsburg University and has been teaching school orchestras since 2018.
