Please note registration does show as full and riders will be placed on a wait-list.  This is to ensure we have enough coaches to help manage the team safely.  Please sign up on the wait-list and we'll pull riders off as we can confirm coach availability!

Do you love adventure and hanging out with friends? Come ride with the Shredders Mountain Bike Team!  Operated by the MN SW Metro Cycling Association, our non-profit is dedicated to building physical and mental strength in young people. We aim to inspire a generation of responsible, self-confident individuals who carry the lessons learned from cycling into all aspects of their lives.

Program Overview
Riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, will learn the skills needed to navigate single-track trails with confidence. Practices take place on gravel, paved, and narrow dirt surfaces. Incoming 6th graders are also eligible to join the Middle School Team at the end of August if they are interested in racing (additional fee required).

• Practices: July-August, Mondays & Thursdays 5:30-7PM and Saturday mornings, dependent on coach availability.
• Practice Locations:  Near Chaska (McKnight Park, Carver Park, Hawks Ridge, Lions Park, and other local MTB trails).

Registration & Fees

• Required Fees: $75 for the first child / $40 per sibling joining the team (Note sibling discount does NOT apply to siblings on the MS/HS team)
• Optional Fees: ~ $50 for a Shredder Jersey; order information will be sent separately.
• Status: Registration is open now through June 15. All registrants will be added to a wait-list, with priority given to riders in the Chaska/Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, and Waconia school districts
• The final roster size depends on coach availability—more coaches mean more kids on bikes!

Equipment Needed: Participants provide their own bike, helmet, eye protection, water bottle or hydration pack, basic bike tools, close toed shoes, and transportation.
