Summer 2026

Are you looking to be part of a rock band and just can’t find the people, place to rehearse or music? Then come be part of the District 112 Garage Band. Since 2004, we have been providing students an innovative rock band experience like none other in the Twin Cities area. Play or sing everything from classic rock to the newest rock with other musicians who love it as much as you do. We are looking for singers, guitarists, keyboardists, bass players, drummers and horn players who have at least two-years' experience on their instruments.
Rehearsals:
*Wednesdays, June 10-July 22
*Students will be able to choose a session: 12:00pm, 1:15pm, 2:30pm

Chaska River City Days Weekend of July 24-26

Eric Songer

Eric has been a music teacher in Eastern Carver County Schools since 1997. In 2021, he was named District 112's Teacher of the Year. He has grown the after school and summer music programs into thriving, exciting opportunities for students.
