Community Education--Eastern Carver Co Schools

Bring your games to life with sound!  In this camp, students will step into the role of audio designer as they record their own DIY sound effects, craft digital bleeps and booms, and arrange simple music loops that perfectly match gameplay moments.  Along the way, they'll learn the basics of layering audio, choosing export formats and building a mini sound library they can take home for future projects.  This camp gives kids the tools to add excitement, atmosphere and creativity to every game they play or create.

Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided.

A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:

• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.
• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.
• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.
