WaitlistAdvanced High School Tennis W/MatchesTennisIn an effort to have similar ability levels in our high school classes, we ask that you first register your child on the waitlist. After registration, Coach Mason will contact you to make sure this is an appropriate level class for your child. In general, the person for this class ranges in ability from the upper B-Team to the lower JV level tennis player who has played on the Chanhassen High School Tennis team. Each class will consist of developing all the tennis strokes, conditioning and singles/doubles strategy through both instructor-fed and live-ball drills to further develop the skills which are needed to play on a high school Varsity or JV team. This also includes weekly match play from 1-3pm on Wednesdays.Summer 2022

Beginner/Intermediate Tennis- Ages 11-15TennisThe emphasis of this class is to develop an enthusiasm for the game of tennis. The students in this class range from beginner, to those that have taken previous classes, to those that have been in the middle school program. The focus will be on serving and being able to rally with proper grips and techniques. Increasing the student's athleticism, agility, balance, and fine motor skills will also be a key focal point. WaitlistBeginning Golf CampGolfThis camp will focus on the fundamentals of chipping, putting, driving and body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system to its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs, all equipment is provided. We keep the instructor-to-camper ratio for this program very low, resulting in limited availability. Chanhassen High School Volleyball CampVolleyballTeryn Glenn, Chanhassen High School's head volleyball coach, along with Freeze Volleyball and current Gopher Players presents a Chanhassen High School Camp. This camp is designed to meet the demands of those players at the varsity high school level and beyond. Each camper will be evaluated on her volleyball skill level and athletic ability and will be split up accordingly for a variety of game play and positional drills. Players will be given advanced instruction by highly experienced coaches and learn the skills that the Minnesota Gopher Volleyball team is utilizing. This camp will run at a high intensity and players should be experienced and prepared to work hard. Campers should bring a labeled water bottle and a small snack. Our staff provides athletes from beginner to advanced the opportunity to practice their pole vaulting skills and learn event specific drills & technique.
