Learn what parents can do to maintain equilibrium in the household amidst the opposing drives of this age. This is a gradually separating class and there is no separation during the first class. After the firsts class the amount of separation time can vary anywhere between 10 minutes and 40 minutes and is determined by the needs of the children, the needs of the parents, the ages of the children and the staffing of a particular group. 3D Printing: Build Your Own RobotMiddle School S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)3D Printing is here to stay! This class is for students who have no or limited experience with 3D Printing. Students will be learning the ropes of 3D modeling and printing. They will use 3D pens to understand printing in plastic and use CAD software (computer-aided design) to design parts for their robot to be 3D printed. By the end of the week, they will 2 dc-powered robots - a sketchbot and a drive bot. 3D Printing: Minecraft CreationsMiddle School S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)3D Printing and Minecraft are 2 of the most exciting things around. This class is for students who have no or limited experience with 3D Printing. Students will be learning the ropes of 3D modeling and printing. They will use 3D pens to understand printing in plastic and learn to use CAD software (computer-aided design) to design some basic Minecraft creations. Engineering is incorporated as they are introduced to circuits and by the end of the week will bring home a working Minecraft ore lamp. To allow everyone to print their creations, items may have to be scaled down to allow printing during class time. ACT Test Prep Course l Grades 10-12 (Virtual)High School Academic Enrichment**Please read before registering for this virtual class: Your student's district Chromebook will not work for this virtual class. Adult Advanced Tennis LeagueSports & FitnessThis class is for the more ADVANCED tennis player who can sustain a rally with medium to very fast paced shots (USTA NTRP rating of 3.5+). Each class will consist of approximately 1 hour of fun, live-ball tennis drills with lots of movement utilizing all the tennis strokes to help improve your tennis game. Athleticism TykesSport/Game SamplerDASH Sports Athleticism Tykes camps provide participants with an overall introduction to building athleticism. The camp experience includes running, agility, jumping, catching, balance/body control, and throwing. Camp consists of many different types of activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance. Tykes classes will have age appropriate skill based drills and activities. Parent participation is required for the 2-3-year age group and recommended when needed for the 4-5-year-old group.
