  • The Art of Nature

Come discover the Art of Nature around the walking trails near Lake Grace (next to the Family Learning Center). What tiny critters live in or around the lake? What colors, patterns, and textures can be discovered growing around or living amongst the trails? After hiking and exploring nature, the nature investigation will continue inside the classroom as students will use various art materials to further their nature explorations. Please have your child dressed for the weather. Nature hike will (hopefully) take place rain or shine. Please send a water bottle, labeled with your child's name, each day with your child. Also, please apply sunscreen each day before class. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center: • Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time. • At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up. • Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time. Thank you for helping summer camps run as smoothly as possible!
