StormHawks Preschool--Taste, Half Day, Connection
The StormHawks Preschool program offers a high-quality early learning opportunity using Earle Childhood Indicators of Progress (ECIPS), Minnesota's early learning standards. Preschool classrooms use the core elements of the Creative Curriculum, a research-based curriculum that features exploration, inquiry and discovery to guide learning. Teaching staff develop units of inquiry based on students interests to make learning meaningful. Classrooms use Teaching Strategies Gold objectives and standards that are aligned to the district's kindergarten standards. We provide a personalized learning experience for every child.

This NEW program is designed for students who want to learn through exploration and are comfortable in an outside environment for extended periods of time. This class includes 9 field days at Tanadoona. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Tanadoona on field days.
StormHawks Preschool to Kindergarten Connection -- 4-5 years old (must be 4 years old by September 1st)
Is your child's birthday after September 1st and will miss the cut off for kindergarten? Then this Preschool to Kindergarten Connection class is for you! Social emotional maturity will be an ongoing focus to those students ready academically and socially for the expectations of kindergarten. Ongoing assessment connected with rigorous expectations will help your child be ready for kindergarten.
