Summer Care Programs Pre-K through 8th Grade
Be a part of this unique and challenging experience. Enjoy making music with other top musicians from the ECCS middle school bands. Fun music will be selected and members will learn the fun that comes from producing a quality musical performance. Our middle school honor band is available for students who have received an invitation from their band director. Performance: June 3, Chaska High School
Matt Potter teaches 6th-8th grade band with District 112 at Chaska Middle School East. Matt has his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music education from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Matt’s primary instruments are the saxophone and the piano, but Matt teaches lessons for all woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. In addition to teaching, Matt still frequently performs with two rock bands and at a church. Matt believes middle school music students should have the opportunities to perform, create and listen to many styles of music.
