Summer Care Programs Pre-K through 8th Grade
Learn the study skills needed to have a successful school year. Your student will learn: how to set & reach academic goals, effective note-taking methods, strategies for retaining learning, reading comprehension strategies, how to increase focus and on-task behaviors, how to stay motivated during the school year, how to create great work habits and more.
Please Note: There is a Head Start Algebra class immediately before this class for any student who wishes to do both.

Cindy Mullen is a licensed teacher that is dedicated to helping students learn the study skills for success. She has a masters degree from the University of Saint Thomas specializing in Specific Learning Disabilities. She currently teaches Study Skills, Algebra and Geometry at the high school level. She strives to help her students understand their personal learning styles, develop goals and create study habits that help them reach these academic goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, biking and boating.
