Summer Care Programs Pre-K through 8th Grade
Learn the skills needed to have a successful year in Algebra 1. During this course, students will review last year's concepts, learn effective note-taking and study strategies for math success and will get a head start on this fall’s Algebra course. Excellent course to review Algebra content before heading into Geometry as well. Students will leave this course with a notebook of learned concepts organized in the manner taught in class so it can be used as reference throughout the school year.
*This class may be paired with the Study Skills class immediately following it.

Cindy Mullen is a licensed teacher that is dedicated to helping students learn the study skills for success. She has a masters degree from the University of Saint Thomas specializing in Specific Learning Disabilities. She currently teaches Study Skills, Algebra and Geometry at the high school level. She strives to help her students understand their personal learning styles, develop goals and create study habits that help them reach these academic goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, biking and boating.
