Starting SoonChaska Boys Soccer CampSoccerSign up for the Chaska HS Boys Soccer Summer camp sessions to prepare for the Fall Season and get to know the coaches and players. This year's curriculum incorporates our traditional Chaska Hawk Technical warm ups, speed and fitness work, and our favorite program building activities. We place a high priority on team chemistry as we want new players to immediately feel like part of the program. We encourage all incoming Freshman to take part to get to know each other and the returning Hawk players before tryouts start. Coaches continue the individual skill focus involving creative soccer activities with a ball while learning to perform the more complex deceptive dribbling skills. Our camps utilize fun, engaging activities to ensure that your child retains what skills they have learned, and master what they have retained. Whether your child is new to HappyFeet or has participated in the past, they are sure to have a blast! Soccer CampSoccerDesigned for beginner and intermediate players, this camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting and ball control. Using a variety of skill-based games, athletes are able to practice skills constantly over the course of the week, while having FUN! Participants will put all of their newly learned skills to use during our World Cup skills challenge, which is the last day of camp. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Community Education programs follow the district Safe Learning plan. SoccerTotsSoccerSuper Tots by Skyhawks uses age-appropriate games to engage kids in sports. The goal of this class is to develop kicking, running control, and dribbling. It also teaches listening and following instructions. The class uses a variety of fun games with lots of physical activity. These Tots classes are designed to introduce these kiddos to basic fundamentals. Parent participation is highly encouraged for these camps, in fact, we have several drills that we ask the Parents to 'partner' with the kiddos.
