Waitlist12-24 Months - World of OnesECFE (Early Childhood Family Education)World of Ones for 12-24 Months Discover the developmental needs of a one year old and learn about what drives them in their quest for exploring the world around them. Learn what parents can do to maintain equilibrium in the household amidst the opposing drives of this age. This is a gradually separating class and there is no separation during the first class. After the firsts class the amount of separation time can vary anywhere between 10 minutes and 40 minutes and is determined by the needs of the children, the needs of the parents, the ages of the children and the staffing of a particular group. WaitlistAdult Advanced Tennis LeagueSports & FitnessThis class is for the more ADVANCED tennis player who can sustain a rally with medium to very fast paced shots (USTA NTRP rating of 3.5+). Each class will consist of approximately 1 hour of fun, live-ball tennis drills with lots of movement utilizing all the tennis strokes to help improve your tennis game. The remaining 30 minutes will consist of both singles and/or doubles match play. Due to the number of higher lever players that typically register, it is highly recommended you contact Jim Mason at jimhmason@comcast.net if you are unsure if you meet the recommended 3.5 NTRP rating for this class. WaitlistAdult Stand-up PaddleboardOutdoor EducationAdults 18+ Stand and paddle across the water in this exciting outdoor adventure designed for beginner-level paddlers! Born from Hawaiian surf culture, paddleboarding provides an excellent balance and core workout, as well as a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the warm Minnesota summer. Instruction will start on land with brief water safety, balance tips, and paddling strokes before giving participants the rest of the day to explore the lake. All necessary equipment will be provided. Participants should come prepared to get in the water; secure sandals or water shoes are recommended.Summer 2022

After registration, Coach Mason will contact you to make sure this is an appropriate level class for your child. In general, the person for this class ranges in ability from the upper B-Team to the lower JV level tennis player who has played on the Chanhassen High School Tennis team. Each class will consist of developing all the tennis strokes, conditioning and singles/doubles strategy through both instructor-fed and live-ball drills to further develop the skills which are needed to play on a high school Varsity or JV team. This also includes weekly match play from 1-3pm on Wednesdays.Summer 2022

Archery and Pizza at Lake Minnewashta-Magnifying AbilitiesRecreationLet's enjoy the great outdoors with an Archery Class at beautiful Lake Minnewashta Regional Park. No experience or equipment is needed! Archery equipment and instruction will be provided by Carver County Parks staff to make this a fun and safe experience for everyone. Your registration includes a pizza picnic with beverages which will be held following the Archery lesson. Participants requiring physical or behavioral supports must be accompanied by a guardian or staff. Accompanying staff may join the pizza picnic with reduced fee, but will need to register separately. Magnifying Abilities is unable to accomodate special diet requests at this event and cannot prorate fees for those not dining on pizza, but participants are welcome to bring a meal that meets their dietary needs if desired. Participation waivers are required for archery and must be signed before the class begins. Baseball Skills CampBaseball/T-BallDASH Sports summer T-ball/Baseball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Create your own universe of magical Pokemon creatures to escape an adventure map, code a catch pokemons game, design your own pokemon team, and create a game to duel against friends. After registration, Coach Mason will contact you to make sure this is an appropriate class for your child. This class is perfect for those that played in a middle school program, took our older Youth Match Play Class or played on a high school B-Team. It is also ideal for the student wanting to go out for high school tennis for the first time! The first 90 minutes will consist of developing all tennis strokes, conditioning and singles/doubles strategy through both instructor-fed and live-ball drills. The last 30 minutes of each class will be devoted to match play. Note-this class does NOT include Wednesday match play.
