I learned to cook by watching my mom cook everyday meals and then was later taught by her when I reached middle school. The first and the most valuable lesson taught was this: Cooking is a life skill and food is lot more than simply nutrition. Today we live in a world where food has been labeled with adjectives like: good/bad, high/low calorie, healthy/unhealthy etc.
These classes are an attempt by me to re-introduce you to Food just as people have traditionally cooked and understood it in India. Food is for our body, emotions, and is very much integral to our celebrations. This class will hopefully bring joy along with nutrition to your plate with dishes cooked in the most authentic Indian way.
