Intro to Python

Learn computer science concepts using one of the fundamental programming languages of professional developers: Python! Python's syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code, making it the perfect coding language for beginners. It is a text-based language, so students should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. 

Home Technical Requirements:

  • Computer: PC (Windows XP or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB or RAM.  Chrombooks and Tablets DO NOT WORK.
  • Internet: Broadband Internet
  • Webcam, Microphone & Speakers: Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse and keyboard.
  • ZOOM Installed on computers.  This class will not work on a district issued device.
  • CodeHS (sign up information will be provided before class)
