Take your watercolor painting skills to new heights with our thrilling advanced art class! Dive into the world of watercolors and uncover exciting techniques that will truly elevate your artwork. This class is tailor-made for students who are ready to take their skills to the next level. As you explore different watercolor techniques, you'll have the opportunity to create breathtaking misty mountain landscapes, and a garden of mushrooms, and even unleash your inner creativity with whimsical doodle flowers. Please pack a nut free snack, lunch and a drink for your child. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center: • Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time. • At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up. • Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Sample lots of different kinds of art in this fun and creative camp. We’ll use paper mâché, clay, canvas, chalk, paint and more to create some fabulous art. Make a colorful paper mâché donut, sculpt some silly snails, learn how to make prints with your own print plate, paint a canvas, and more. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack. Master the essentials of baseball-fielding, catching, throwing, hitting, and base running, -in our engaging, positive environment. Tailored for beginners and intermediates, this program not only instills new baseball skills but also imparts crucial life lessons in respect, teamwork and sportsmanship. Join us for a dynamic blend of athletic growth and character development. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a baseball glove, water bottle, and running shoes.

Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions. A majority of the class will be held outside (weather permitting) please dress accordingly and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Please bring a water bottle. Please register for the grade you will be entering next fall. April 1-30 registration is by invitation only. Relate Counseling Center is a Community Based Mental Health Clinic serving the western suburbs. Relate also partners with the Eastern Carver school district to provide co-located mental health services in every elementary school. Permission Statement I understand that my child has an opportunity to participate in a therapeutic camp led by two therapists from Relate Counseling Center. For the purposes of this group, I give permission for school staff to share necessary information about my child with Relate staff, and for the Relate clinician to share necessary information about my child with the school staff.  I understand that this group is being funded through summer learning and is at no cost to me.
