    Get ready to jive and twist at an electrifying dance class featuring the iconic tunes of “Grease”! Slip on your dancing shoes and join the dance instructors of Drama Interaction as they teach the timeless grooves made popular by the classic movie. During the next few months, many of our juniors and seniors will take their ACT College Entrance Test. To help students prepare for this test, Advantage Educational Programs, in cooperation with Eastern Carver County Community Education, will offer their ACT prep courses to students from all high schools in Eastern Carver County.     Sample lots of different kinds of art in this fun and creative camp. We’ll use paper mâché, clay, canvas, chalk, paint and more to create some fabulous art. Make a colorful paper mâché donut, sculpt some silly snails, learn how to make prints with your own print plate, paint a canvas, and more. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack.     Come and join us for a fun two day camp featuring some of our favorite Abrakadoodle lessons. Draw your own dog inspired by George Rodrigue and his favorite subject “Blue Dog”, use clay and seashells to sculpt a sea creature, and create colorful hens and chicks with chalk and oil pastels, paint a colorful canvas and more.     Let nature be your inspiration at Art-in-the-Park with Magnifying Abilities! Meet at Cedar Lake Farm Regional Park for a unique art class that will start with a scavenger hunt to find items in nature. Participants will then create clay imprinted medallions to preserve and enjoy nature year round!     This class will be focusing on technique and fundamentals of classical ballet that will increase your overall dance facility. Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. This training will provide technique at the barre, and in the center of the floor. Barre work conditions your body to focus on detail, and center work puts our technique to practice.

Join us for a dynamic blend of athletic growth and character development. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a baseball glove, water bottle, and running shoes.
  • Beginner/Intermediate 8-10 year olds with Match Play

    AGES 8-10 A FREE T-SHIRT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS! Monday- Thursday will place an emphasis on building your child's athletic skills while developing agility, balance and coordination. In addition, our well-trained and up-beat staff will have kids with a similar ability level rallying with each other and serving with proper grips and techniques. The Friday match play class will consist of an approximate 45-minute skill building portion and an approximate 45-minutes match play portion. The match play portion will place an emphasis on learning how to play games and sets while displaying good sportsmanship. The match play portion will incorporate a modified court setup developed by the United States Tennis Association for kids within this age group. Please bring your appropriate sized tennis racquet and a water bottle.     Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success.     You won't want to miss all that Big Stone Mini Golf in Minnetrista has to offer! Considered a regional hidden gem, this mini-golf destination has a cleverly designed 14-hole mini-golf course, a remarkable sculpture garden, not to mention their adorable farm animals that roam and graze. There is so much to see and do! Accompanying companions must also register and pay the admission fee. Participants are encouraged to come with family or staff via their own transportation to Big Stone, however a few transportation spots will be available for independent individuals, departing from the Family Learning Center in Chaska.     StormHawks Preschool provides an immersive classroom environment where creativity and imagination abound! To complement the preschool day, we offer wrap around care on opposite ends of the day. StormHawks Wrap Around Care is an option-based childcare program including active play, hands-on experiential learning, and the option to choose from multiple activities that highlight a wide variety of interest areas. The childcare day focuses on social and emotional development as well as the needs and interests of children ages 3 years old to entering kindergarten.

    Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions. A majority of the class will be held outside (weather permitting) please dress accordingly and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Please bring a water bottle. Relate also partners with the Eastern Carver school district to provide co-located mental health services in every elementary school. For the purposes of this group, I give permission for school staff to share necessary information about my child with Relate staff, and for the Relate clinician to share necessary information about my child with the school staff.  I understand that this group is being funded through summer learning and is at no cost to me.
