Community Education--Eastern Carver Co Schools

Calling all archers! This archery class is an opportunity for students of all ability levels to try something new! Proper techniques for stance, aim and release are taught by trained instructors who utilize experiential learning and creative games to ensure that all archers grow in their abilities-and have fun! Students can go straight to this program after school from Chaska Middle School East or West. All equipment provided. This program is offered in partnership with Carver County Parks.

If your child misses being outdoors in the winter, this camp is their outdoor escape! Participants will enjoy one full day of great winter recreation activities like snowshoeing, kick sledding, shelter building, geocaching & group games in this unique winter day camp. Instructors with the Carver County Parks Department will teach outdoor activities covering how-to safety and equipment terminology. Worried it might be too cold? We will be sure to warm up with s'mores around the fire and hot cocoa or cider. This program is offered in partnership with Carver county parks. All equipment is provided.
