  • Cozy Flannel Minnesota Cabin Quilt

    Come cozy up and make this charming 54 X 72in. quilt, perfect for the cabin or snuggling on the couch.  This quilt also makes a wonderful gift!  The class fee includes material for the front and back of the quilt, the pattern and the MN fabric.  Students will walk away with a finished quilt top.  Please bring a sewing machine in working order.Add Ons (Payable to Instructor):$75 - Have quilt finished professionally by Anne (includes batting, thread and quilting.)$50 - Optional Binding
  • Drawing Basics

    Do you find drawing frustrating? Take this class and learn that drawing isn't as difficult as you think. Students will learn techniques that will make drawing easy to understand. Drawing can be challenging if you don't know the tricks that professional artists know. Unlock the mystery of realistic drawing. You will learn to draw what you see, and the tips and tricks that will help you create better drawings. This class will teach you a new way of seeing and a new appreciation of the world around you. Everyone is welcome, students will learn in a non-judgmental, relaxing positive atmosphere.
  • Furniture Distressing

    Come join in the fun while learning how to distress furniture!  Bring a piece you can carry...a frame, a small table or end table, wall hanging or shelf...anything you would like to distress.  You will be painting and sanding so please dress accordingly. $30 supply fee is due to teacher at class. 
  • Knitting for Beginners

    Learn how to knit!  It is very relaxing and there are so many different items that you can make and wear.  This will be four session class.  In the first session, you will learn the basic stitches and how they are completed.  In sessions 2, 3 and 4, you will choose a project to complete in our time together.
  • Make an Ornament for your Teacher!

    Wondering what to get your teacher for a holiday gift?  This is a class for elementary students and their parent/guardian.  There will be a variety of different ornaments to make for teachers.  You are welcome to make more than 1!$5/ornament supply fee due to instructor at classEach student making an ornament must register separately.  Parents/guardians do not need to pay (unless you are making your own!)
  • Mosaic Birdbath

    Make your own custom mosaic birdbath.  Join us for an evening of fun and art!  We will be making a beautiful birdbath that you will be proud to have in your yard or garden.  A wide variety of glass will be available for your choosing.  You are welcome to bring a pattern if you'd like or free-hand is always fun too!$40 supply fee due to teacher at class.
  • Painting Barn Quilts

    Painting barn quilts is a popular, lively 4-hour class with guided instruction which will take you through the process of barn quilt painting from beginning to end. Students will choose a barn quilt pattern from the several dozen offered or can even bring their own (though instructorwill evaluate difficulty level). Instructor will offer a wealth of knowledge regarding barn quilt history, measuring, layout, taping and painting as related to this art form. Student will leave with their own masterpiece ready to hang and hopefully the desire to start a Barn Quilt Trail in theirneighborhood! A $35 supply fee will be collected at the beginning of class, payable to the instructor.Materials provided: 2' X 2' exterior grade specialty sign board with 2-3 pre-applied coats of Kilz exterior primer.  This is a 5-step, 2-day process that is already done for you! Over 60 fabulous colors of the highest quality Behr exterior paint to choose from. All supplies need to complete project.

    A photograph captures a moment that is gone forever!  Are you photographs in a box, drawers, suitcase, phone, camera chip, external hard drive or all of the above?  Could you find a specific photo in seconds?  Are they securely backed up?  Learn about a system to get every printed photo, digital photo and your memorabilia organized.  Learn about scanning slides, movies, prints as well as backing up and cloud storage.  You'll leave with a plan that allows you to access every photo you own in literally seconds!
  • The Pouring of Paint

    Join the newest craze in the art world while taking the exceptionally exciting class on The Pouring of Paint.No abundant artist abilities that you are aware of?  No worries!  You may even discover your inner Piccaso while being carefully guided under the proficient eye of the teacher.  While learning The Pouring of Paint you will be using specific techniques to achieve a stunning, one of a kind masterpiece.  Your guests will wonder: "Why is this not in an upscale art gallery?" or "Could they have possibly borrowed it from the Louvre in Paris?"  No!  YOU created this masterpiece in a Community Education Class!!$30 due to instructor at class (you will be able to choose desired size during registration process)-Options include:3- 8"X 8" Canvases2 - 12" X 12" Canvases1 - 8" X 24" CanvasSupplies include:*Premier canvas that is wrapped on a frame and ready to hang.  Canvas is triple-primed and 100% cotton duck cloth.*Plethora of paint colors, additives that help achieve fantabulous results including the largest cells size possible.*Plastic coverings, gloves, aluminum trays, cups, stir sticks and other items.*Any additional supplies needed for the class
  • Working with Acrylics & Water Mediums

    All levels of experience including beginners are welcome. This course offers the opportunity to explore the acrylic medium. Choices are paint on canvas, watercolor, watercolor mixed with other compatible mediums and collage. Work with subjects you choose, at your own pace and painting style. Instructor brings idea file to work from or bring your own. Repeating this course will continue to hone skills. A materials list will be emailed before the start of class.
