Summer Care Programs Pre-K through 8th Grade
Bunnycorn, Prince the Pug, Mauve the Alpaca and more – the hardest thing about those squishy Squishmallows is deciding which one you love the most! In this workshop, artists will create a clay version of their favorite Squishmallow using air-dry clay, paint, and so much more. What could be more fun? Bring your Squishmallow to class so they can join in the fun!Please pack a nut-free snack and drink for your child each day.
Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided.
A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.

Founder, Lara Olson, started Kidcreate Studio after being discouraged by the limited amount of art exposure her son was receiving at school. His favorite class was art. In art class, he found tremendous joy in the creative process and none of the frustrations he was experiencing in some of his other classes. Lara understood how he felt. She too had gravitated toward art classes as a child. Lara strongly believed in the power of art to teach, inspire and build self-esteem. She also understood that art makes learning fun and a fun learning environment was exactly what her son needed more of!
Lara started a quest for art classes for her son. She searched in vain for an art studio designed just for kids that combined quality art education with a fun kid-friendly environment. Finding nothing that met her requirements, she decided to CREATE it! And KIDCREATE was born!
