Pop Ensemble

Music Academy / Group Music Courses -
Winter/Spring 2026

Do you like the hit songs of today or have a love of many kinds and genres of popular music? Pop Ensemble is an opportunity to be in a band and learn and perform current and past Top 40 hits and pop classics of the past.
Students must have at least TWO years of experience on one of the following instruments: piano, bass guitar, drum set, guitar, singing or rapping.
We are also looking for students with experience working with Garage Band, Ableton, or Logic.
There will be a performance at the Minnesota Modern Band Festival at Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Tuesday, May 20 as well as another performance TBA.

Eric Songer

Eric has been a music teacher in Eastern Carver County Schools since 1997.  In 2021, he was named District 112's Teacher of the Year.  He has grown the after school and summer music programs into thriving, exciting opportunities for students.
