Here is a great opportunity to learn math hands-on, in a fun and safe environment! Students will have the opportunity to work individually and in small groups on math games, puzzles, building structures, etc. Through this students will have a chance to use their math skills like number facts, multiplication skills, fractional concepts, proportional reasoning and problem solving. They will bring home some of their projects as well, so don't forget to ask them more details about what they did and liked that day! On the last day of the camp, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment which pinpoints your child’s exact math strengths and areas to improve. Through this engaging math camp, we hope your child's negative attitude towards math (if any) is reversed - building a base towards your child's road to success. Due to COVID-19 precautions, only registered participants of activities are allowed in District buildings. Parents are not permitted to enter the facility nor stay to watch practices or activities. Exception: if the participant is 5 years old or younger, one parent may attend. Please keep siblings at home.
