Community Education--Eastern Carver Co Schools

Minnesota has the strongest dance teams in the nation! Now young dancers can learn the foundations of dance, make new friends, and have fun through recreational dance team! Join our Youth Dance Team program and discover the joy of jumping, turning, leaping, kicking, and teamwork! Designed for dancers aged 4-12 years old, this program offers an exciting opportunity to learn creative, high-energy jazz, pom, hip hop, and kick routines to perform at district 112 community events. MNYDT (“Mini DT”) will be led by HS coaches and dance team members. Whether you’re a beginner or are an experienced studio dancer, we welcome all! Performance opportunities will be added as community experiences arise!  Final performance at Chaska High School on Thursday, May 22nd.  

Lead by Kris Rydland, Head Coach Chaska Dance Team, and Veda Baumann, Chaska Dance Team 4 year varsity member and 2 year captain. Clinics will include other veteran team members, coaches, and alum who have gone on to nationally ranked college dance teams.
