3D Printing: Build Your Own Robot

3D Printing is here to stay! This class is for students who have no or limited experience with 3D Printing. Students will be learning the ropes of 3D modeling and printing. They will use 3D pens to understand printing in plastic and use CAD software (computer-aided design) to design parts for their robot to be 3D printed. By the end of the week, they will 2 dc-powered robots - a sketchbot and a drive bot.

A few things to remember when arriving for camp:

• Please do not park in the Bus/Fire Lane along the curb at the Family Learning Center when dropping off/picking up from camp.
• Our school buildings are secure. Please pick up and drop off from the Main Entrance at the Family Learning Center.
• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.
