Art & Social Emotional Learning

Youth / Art, Creativity & Cooking / Prek-Elementary Art, Creativity & Cooking -
Winter/Spring 2023

Jump into Social Emotional Learning (SEL) through the world of art! Join us as we learn about creating friendships, exploring emotions, mindfulness, and more through drawing, crafting, and creating. SEL skills help students thrive in their relationships, academics, and self-confidence. Help your student learn about these essential skills through the joyful and supportive world of art.

Megan Ashpole

My name is Megan Ashpole and I am a licensed School Counselor. This year is my third year working as a School Counselor. I have over ten years of experience working with children aged six months to eighteen years old. My
experience ranges from working as a lead teacher with toddlers and preschoolers to working as a School Counselor. I have my Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology and my Master of Science in School Counseling from St. Cloud State University.

I am passionate about Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and providing students with the tools needed to cope with a variety of emotions, create meaningful relationships, and pursue their goals and dreams! My hope is to empower young people through SEL to be empathetic, courageous, and confident individuals.
